My First from Baker's Dozen

I am so proud of myself. I managed to get a layout done today from the Baker's Dozen Studio Calico kit. I wasn't sure I would like this kit because it is a little more girly than most of the other ones and all I have are boys. But ironically they were the subject of my first "pastry."

  

 

I just took the picture and it is of course cloudy and over cast now so the lighting was terrible. I bought that Martha Stewart Double Loop Punch Combo and I love it! Her punches are getting better and better. 

The journaling says, "I used to think all I wold want is girls! Never did I imagine being the mom of two boys. Now, I cannot believe I never wanted them. Boys are so much fun! There are just some things you can't do with girls that you can do with......"

For the record we really do still want a girl and are contemplating when to try for that girl here in the future. I think we will start trying after we move to California. No way would I want to be pregnant during a move!

Well....hopefully after watching the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics tonight I can go into the craft room and get some more done!
